Taking advantage of wild food.

The Badger has been even more busy within the track between the shelter of the hedges. A well worn access path through the hedge gives away how it comes through from out of the wood on the opposite side of the field behind.

A fox also has taken advantage of this route and gave the game away by dropping it’s scat just a little away from the run.

Dark black and studded with Blackberry seeds, the fox has been eating low growing and easy to reach berries. Badgers will too, but are much neater and will only leave their droppings in proper latrines that they create as communal toilets.
