Berries colour up.
Although yet another dull day, it’s brightened up by the colouring berries within the hedge.
Colouring Bryony berries.
Blackberries are still ripening and still retain enough flavour for eating raw. Though it will not be long before they are best used when cooked as the falvour will become less intense and not so sweet.
As SEptember moves on the leaves of the Black berry start to turn delicious colours. Every year I take more photos of them even though I have many now. But they are just simply irresistable.
A little friend has been meeting me between the hedges. This is the second day she has turned up at the same time. She watches me from a distance and then at the sound of my voice rushes up to greet me.
A lovely natured girl who obviously likes company.
